mSpot Movies is Closing

Many thanks to all who enjoyed the mSpot Movie Club and service; mSpot Movies will be closing on October 30, 2012. mSpot will continue to provide mSpot Movies to its wireless carrier partners up until the end of 2012.

Historically, mSpot has been an early innovator in both mobile movies and music services, and has charted new territory for the industry. However, as a business, we made a decision to focus on where we could provide the greatest value to our customers.

Going forward, the company’s primary efforts will be focused on our music service - Music Hub – the first completely integrated mobile music service to offer cloud music, unlimited access to millions of songs in our catalog, a music store and radio discovery. Since its acquisition by Samsung in May 2012, mSpot has already launched the initial Music Hub service and is working on exciting new features. It is currently available for Galaxy S III users in the US, UK, France, Germany, Spain and Italy, and the Galaxy Note II (shipping in October in Europe). We’re looking forward to adding additional devices in the coming months, and hope you’ll get to experience Music Hub soon on one of your own devices.

All the best,
Daren Tsui
