Verizon Wireless Handsets to Show off mSpot Radio

mSpot has collaborated with Verizon Wireless to releases its latest service, the mSpot Radio. The radio offers personalized experience and access to a vast range of music to its users. mSpot Radio touts on offering its users the combination of ‘the best of all formats for radio’. The radio service presents a good blend of commercial-free radio packed with branded talk and live local stations throughout the United States. It also features the Clear Channel’s iheartradio.

The mSpot Radio customizes the radio experience on each phone by harmonizing different app platforms and audio encodings with the user’s device and network. It lets users effortlessly browse through the content, which would contain nationally recognized talk shows and also allows them to bookmark their most-listened stations coupled with easy access to recently played stations. Users can also download full songs, ringtones, ringback tones on their devices.

The mSpot Radio equips the Personal Radio
function empowering listeners to craft their own stations and play music sung by their favorite artists. This feature also allows users to further customize their stations with the facility to skip, ban or heart stations. The Radio offers stations playing over 70 genres including pop, urban, R&B, hip-hop and Latin. It also adds-in around 440 local radio stations from places like New York City, Los Angeles, Chicago and Austin, Texas.

The radio stations are updated on a weekly-basis to include new releases. As an added benefit, the mSpot exclusive Ten Spot station broadcasts music played by various new artists each week. Content partners of mSpot consist of ABC, FOX Sports, NPR, Disney, SportingNews, MarketWatch, PRI, Rooftop Comedy, and The Onion Radio News.

The mSpot Radio is one of the latest offerings from mSpot, others consist of the mspot.com, which is a free cloud music service and the mspotmovies.com, which is a mobile movie service. The mSpot radio can be accessed on over 60 3G multimedia and simple feature mobile devices from Verizon Wireless, which use the Brew platform.
