AndroidGuys.com

An updated version of mSpot has arrived in the Android Market today which blends storage locker services, radio, and cloud music. More specifically, mSpot combines the best parts of services like Pandora, Amazon and Google music storage, MOG, Rhapsody, and iTunes with a hint of Shazam.

The new service is called Radio Spotter (Beta) and it matches any song you might play out of your own collection with a radio station playing similar music. Of course, you can always pick a radio station based on your favorite genres as well.

Even while mSpot combines pieces and parts of your favorite music apps and services, they want you to know there is a difference. Check out the bullet points from the press release to see how mSpot differs from the competition.

*Unlike Pandora and Slacker; Play all of your own music alongside new music that is discovered on real radio stations: Your own music collection is the basis of all the new music you find and listen to.

*Unlike iTunes; Store your music collection in the cloud so that you can always access it, wherever you are. Your music is connected to the Internet, so you can match your preferences to hundreds of Internet radio stations to discover and play new music for free.

*Unlike subscription services like Rhapsody, MOG and Rdio; Listening is free.

*Unlike Cloud storage services like Amazon or Google; Listening is not limited to your own music, or music for purchase; your music now connects you to hundreds of radio stations.

*Users get 5GB of storage for free, but $3.99 a month yields 40GB storage.
