The Role:

• Create fast front-ends for our consumer site and partner portals using your expert knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and Flash.
• Passion for developing well-architected, maintainable, and clean code
• Work closely with our product management team and architect to create new user experiences which engage our users
• Create new applications in PHP which expose our core infrastructure in new and exciting ways
• Solid and extensive experience with distributed, server side application development
• Constantly factor and re-factor your code for reusability, repeatability, and maintainability
• Work with QA to ensure the products reliability
• Work with agile/scrum development methodologies
• Actively research and implement tools and processes to enhance team productivity and system quality.

Qualifications:

• BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent
• Expert in JavaScript, HTML, CSS
• 2+ years of Java or C++ programming
• 2+ years of web development experience
• 2+ years of work experience with SQL or MySQL
• Basic understanding of OOP principles
• Able to own projects and take the initiative to see things through conclusion
• Good communication and personal skills: ability to interact and work well with members of other functional groups in a project team and a strong sense of project ownership

Our Software Engineers are involved in the whole software development life cycle: from requirements definition to customer delivery. Technical responsibilities include software design, effort estimation, implementation, unit testing, integration, and bug fixes.
